Mountain Bike Facts

Champéry is part of the Portes du Soleil area, which is a mecca for Mountain Biking, and is one of the biggest riding areas in the world with over 600km of trails. From June until September – 24 lifts serve 650km of tracks and trails, covering 9 resorts in France and Switzerland.
You are able to ride easily from one resort to the other using lifts and marked tracks, just as skier do in winter time.

Bike hire

You can hire a bike from the bikeshop under the cable car. They have a very good range of Scott bikes, from downhill, Freeride and bikes for children.

Daily hire is between Chf 45-120 further details

This year Champery is hosting the World MTB Championships. This speaks volumes for the quality of riding we have here. If you want to try out some of the World’s best mountain bike trails both downhill and cross country. This is the place for you!

Guiding

We are working with a local Mountain Bike guide. Her name is Petra Wiltshire, she has lots of experience being a former 3 times World downhill Champion. So if you want to get to know the area better or would like some advice on technical stuff she’s the guide for you. Please contact us directly for further information.
